Session Five
Key Findings & Recommendations
May 21, 2015
The Lisle community once again came out strong for the final Vision 202 session of this school year. Presiding as
keynote speakers, co-chairs Susan Stears and Bill Buchelt shared the key findings and recommendations created
from the community’s feedback over the last four sessions.
Following the brief overview presentation, participants worked in small groups. Participants went to work on Task
#1 reviewing the recommendations that were grouped in to four topics: Student Achievement, Programs &
Services, Finances, and Facilities. Small groups had the opportunity to cross reference the recommendations with
the Executive Summaries from previous sessions and provide feedback to the Facilitating Team on whether they
agreed with the recommendations as stated, or if there was something additional that the groups felt should be
included in the verbiage.
Task #2 was an individual work activity for the participants. The Vision 202 Team asked participants to provide
feedback about the communication vehicles utilized during Vision 202 in order to continue to effectively share
information with the community in the future.
The Community said…
“Thanks for creating Vision 202!
It was really worthwhile!”
